He didn't like to dance,
yet there he was holding her close...hips swaying, feet gliding.
She wore a dress that revealed the small of her back, and it was there that his hand rested.
They both knew what was going to happen that night, but neither knew that the other did too.
He shuts the door behind them. She looks at him.
“What?” he says.
She gently pulls his tie, bringing him closer to her. They kiss.
He lifts her vertically as she ascends like a rocket,
gazing down in the world of his eyes and desperately clutching the clouds of his hair.
He throws her into a billowy landing, and she becomes lost, found, and everything in between.
